Automatization of a logistic process using platooning technology for cargo transportation from Finland to Saint-Petersburg

The world we live in is changing dramatically through innovation, and the pace of change is accelerating every day. Truck platooning is the linking of multiple trucks in a convoy using communication and sensors between vehicles. Platooning technology can allow vehicles to move completely autonomously. One of Russia's major trading partners is Finland. Active cargo transportation of products is carried out in both directions. Truck platooning can be used on this road. This paper includes the costs analysis of the technology and how it may pay for itself in the future.
