Integration of management and information technologies is a task of increasing relevance for enterprises of all types, especially in view of the work in the changing world around us. This article reviews the state of affairs in this area and provides an overview of the current state of practice-oriented, research and educational approaches. It also describes the work of the Graduate School of Business Engineering (GSBE) of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and describes the capabilities of Technoeconomics journal, which is created to exchange expert opinion and experience for the development of approaches to the integration of management technologies and IT.
